Our Commitment and Zero-Tolerance Policy

We recognise that the cleaning and facilities sector can be vulnerable to labour exploitation, and we take this responsibility seriously. All employees, agency workers, and contractors are treated fairly, paid at least the applicable legal minimum wage, and provided with safe and decent working conditions. We are committed to compliance with all relevant employment, labour and human rights laws, and we continually review our practices to ensure they uphold these standards.

Our Supply Chains and Supplier Standards

Our supply chains include cleaning product manufacturers, equipment suppliers, uniform providers, and labour agencies. We aim to work only with suppliers who share our values and can demonstrate a clear commitment to preventing modern slavery.

Cleaner Chiswick requires suppliers and contractors to confirm that they comply with modern slavery and human trafficking legislation where applicable, and that they have their own robust policies and controls in place. We expect suppliers to take responsibility for ensuring that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in their own supply chains.

If a supplier is unwilling or unable to meet the standards required, Cleaner Chiswick reserves the right to suspend or terminate the business relationship.

Responsibility for ensuring compliance with this statement and our wider approach to modern slavery rests with the senior management of Cleaner Chiswick. Managers are required to promote awareness of modern slavery risks and ensure that staff within their teams understand the standards expected.

We provide guidance and information to relevant employees, especially those involved in recruitment, procurement and supplier management, to help them recognise the signs of modern slavery and respond appropriately to any concerns.

Monitoring, Review and Continuous Improvement
